In 2018 I heard that I would become redundant at Rabobank due to a reorganization. After more than 35 years in the financial sector it was time for something different, something new. I had plenty of ideas, but it was difficult to structure them myself. I also wondered whether I was on the right track.

After the introductory meeting with Nicole van den Hout I went home with a good feeling; I knew that I had made the right choice with H&C Coaches. There was no sitting back, for a few months I worked hard and constructively on 'Paul' together with Nicole.

Through various assignments and conversations, it gradually became clearer to me where my interests lay and where my qualities were best used. In February 2019, I started as a teacher at the ROC. A year later, I also became a study career counselor for my own class. During our conversations, Nicole had already indicated that she saw me more as a mentor or study career counselor. I had doubts about that myself, but it turned out to be the best choice I ever made. I have never gotten so much satisfaction from a position.

I couldn't have done this on my own. I am super happy with H&C Coaches and look back with a happy feeling on the growth I have experienced under Nicole's guidance.
