Motivations & Passion
My primary motivation is to contribute to the development of people, teams and organizations every day. I am convinced that people make the difference , not only in achieving better results, but also in increasing fun and cooperation in the workplace . This stems from my passion for life , where I get the most out of it by doing what really suits me.
As a (team or organizational) coach I am very experienced in topics such as team development, strengthening (personal) leadership, influencing psychological resilience and improving cooperation in and between teams . The dynamics between people and the functioning of organizations as a system fascinate me enormously. This has become the core of my work and development in recent years. I work at all levels within an organization .
Background & Experience
With almost 30 years of experience in the security domain at the police and the public prosecutor's office , of which 20 years in management roles , I have built up extensive expertise in developing people and teams. For 10 years I was responsible for setting up and implementing transition programs .
I then applied my expertise as an independent coach for companies , using my leadership and coaching experience to guide people, teams and organizations within both non-profit and profit . The majority of my work focuses on team development at all levels . In addition, I am active as a trusted advisor for various clients.
In 2006 I completed my training as a coach/team coach and in 2018 I successfully completed the Postgraduate Executive Coach/Team Coach training at the VU Amsterdam . In 2020 I started my PhD at the Open University , with research into the influence of mobility networks on innovation, learning capacity and sustainable employability within organizations.
