Motivations & Passion

My entire life as an athlete, teacher and person I have been busy getting the most out of myself . Yet I never really thought about how essential breathing is for both physical and mental performance .

Breathing seems obvious, something you just do. But in stressful situations, breathing shoots up , while a low, conscious breathing helps to stand firm and stay in touch with trust .

My own experience with the power of Breathfulness inspired me to study this method and to help others with it. Every time I enjoy it when a client takes a step in the desired direction , with the breath as a basis . The beautiful thing is that the breath is always available as a natural way to develop and gain new insights .

Breathfulness

Breathfulness focuses on breathing . Everyone has a unique breathing pattern that symbolizes their (life) story .

Many people struggle with tension, fears, sadness, negative thoughts, low energy, low self-confidence, inner turmoil or sleep problems . These complaints are often approached rationally , while breathing is unconsciously limited by the brain. This mechanism helps to avoid pain from the past , but at the same time limits full breathing and therefore also emotional processing.

With Breathfulness (harmonizing breathing) you learn to return to a full breathing range , allowing you to let go of stuck patterns . Through improved abdominal breathing you strengthen your self-confidence , and by relaxing the diaphragm you let go of fears and control.

A free flowing breath ensures that you return to yourself, to the question 'Who am I and who do I want to be?' . Your feelings and intuition are given space again, which creates a natural control , not only from thoughts, but also from your heart .
