Halfway through 2024 I took a time-out from work to reflect on my career and my next step. During this period of self-reflection, relaxation and fun, I thought it would be a good idea to ask a career coach to guide me in this process.

That turned out to be a great choice!

I heard about H&C Coaches through the grapevine, and from our first conversation we immediately clicked.

Nicole is direct, honest, curious and interested in the question behind the question. She asks critical questions, especially at times when it becomes uncomfortable or confrontational, and that is exactly why it is so valuable.

She helped me to take and maintain calm in the process, while my impatience sometimes threatened to tempt me to take steps without first really getting to the core: who am I and what do I want? It was not always easy, but very educational.

Through our conversations, concrete homework assignments and the books and podcasts that Nicole recommended to me, I have gotten to know myself much better in the past months. I started this process with worries, but now I continue with confidence! I have more self-confidence and look at myself and my future more gently and positively.

Ultimately, I made the choice to become self-employed and to follow a new training course, something I am really looking forward to!
